In additional to her masters in performance, Samantha holds a music education degree from West Chester University of Pennsylvania. She has taught privately for over a decade and has gathered a plethora of educational resources for students of all levels. Her lessons are affordable and are available on short-term and long-term basis.
Voice lessons (all levels)
Samantha’s voice lessons have a strong focus on healthy singing. Her pedagogy is based on developing healthy building blocks for each student. These building blocks include things such as breathing, posture, etc. Her techniques are transferable into many different genres. As a result she has had successful students in many styles including classical, musical theatre, rock, folk, and many more.
Voice lessons are appropriate as teenagers and adults. It doesn’t matter if you are a shower singer or an on stage prodigy, everyone can benefit from vocal lessons. Lessons can help with audition preparation, self-confidence, processing emotions, musicality, self-discipline, and choral endeavors.
One of Samantha's specializations is helping those in the lgbtq+ community, especially those undergoing hormonal treatments, find and strengthen their voice. For more information or questions about this type of lesson, please contact Samantha through the contact form. “I was a student of Sam's while she was studying at the University of Wyoming. During that time, she helped me regain and extend my range, and also expand my repertoire; prior to working with Sam I had studied mostly classical music and she helped me learn new techniques and methods so I could healthily sing other musical genres. She's very passionate about helping her students achieve their personal goals and grow as a musician.” -KM
“Samantha Stiner has easily been one of my favorite voice teachers. She deserves a lot of the credit for my desire to continue my voice training. She has the ability to make you work hard, while having fun, and gives great advice on relaxing and getting rid of tension. She has played a large part in my desire to join men’s choir and really loving to sing.” -EW

Piano lessons at any age are beneficial! They are a great way for anyone to start experiencing music. They build self-discipline and confidence while increasing fine motor skills. Samantha has been teaching piano for nearly a decade and takes a very individualized approach to meet each and every student where they are.
“When we first sent the boys for piano lessons with Miss Stiner, they were at completely different levels of preparation. The younger boy had never read music or played anything. The older boy had a year of beginning band under his belt. The younger one was an undisciplined free spirit and the older one was ready for some quick success. Miss Stiner met each boy at their level and adopted different techniques for keeping them progressing and enjoying their lessons. The little guy developed the discipline to focus and practice, and the big guy was quickly playing duets with Miss Stiner, which he really enjoyed.” -MC
